All residents/AR shall be supported by a case manager and participate in the development of goals in the ISP (Individual Service Plan).
Residents shall adhere to the time schedules for administration of medications prescribed by their physicians/doctors.
Residents shall have no illegal drugs or prescription drugs on the premises or in their possessions, except medications prescribed by their doctor. All prescription drugs and over the counter medications shall be kept in a locked closet and locked filing cabinet and given by a direct care staff at the appropriate times.
- Always wash hands after using the restroom, before and after eating and after participating in any outside activities such as watering the plants or playing structured games in the yard.
- Keep all personal hygiene items in your room including toothbrushes, razors, and toiletry items.
- Eat or drink using your own containers and not from another person’s food or drink container.
This is a smoke free environment, therefore, no smoking is allowed inside the home or on the grounds with the exception of the designated area outside, beside the ash tray/trash bin.
Residents are required to participate in scheduled and unscheduled fire drills and other safety drills conducted by the staff. In the event of a fire residents shall follow the emergency evacuation route with assistance of a staff member and staff will call 911 once safely out of the building.
Residents shall be given the freedom to decorate their room with pictures and posters using the appropriate hooks and adhesive tape provided by the staff. No large holes in the wall for any reason.
Residents shall not possess any weapons or ammunition in the home, including, but not limited to guns, knives or pepper spray.
Residents shall not share nor borrow clothes, money or personal items from another resident.
Residents shall be allowed to participate, add, or modify these rules after a group home meeting and all residents and staff approve of the addition(s) or modification(s).
